Desert Bread is your sourdough & bakery oasis located near Sunset Park in Paradise, Nevada. We specialize in fermented sourdough with a focus on freshly milled grains, locally inspired breads and unique grab & go pastries. We believe in the importance of sourcing our ingredients that nourish you with organic grain from the best mills the west coast provides, bringing you a delicious, nutritious and digestible food.

Our offerings are inspired seasonally with available produce from local partnerships & friends. We provide an experience that is unique while fostering relationships over delicious food. Who we are …

We met in Lake Merritt, Oakland, CA. Brett & Brendons bond was built on a dream of bringing sustainable and organic food to our community. Practicing in our 50 sq. ft. kitchen, overlooking the redwoods and rolling hills of Oakland, Brett’s aspirations for perfection were getting rolled out from the recipes of our past. Building our foundation in the farmers markets, seasonal vegetables and fruit as well as working with our peers inspired our creativity. Married in 2015, our inspiration was overflowing the 50 sq. ft of kitchen space and we knew that we needed to continue our journey and grow. We set out to build off of the foundation we had in Oakland. After several visits and exploring all that Las Vegas has to offer, we felt that our lives could blossom in Las Vegas, what we found is that they thrive here. Each morning is a dream turned into reality, feeding and building a community from our home in Las Vegas.
